I started my coaching conversations with Sarah thinking I had a clear idea of my objectives, I was wrong! Through her searching questions, insightful observations, and open challenges Sarah has helped me realise what is actually important at this time in my life and how that is impacting how I feel and what I do at work. She did this in an incredibly warm and engaging style, while being challenging and pushing me when needed. Sarah also gave me some great development ‘nuggets’ that have helped with my original aims. I’d really recommend Sarah as a coach for helping you go deeper than you might be expecting!

During Covid, the role I was working in was disestablished. I had been employed since I was sixteen years old and was elected as a Councillor in 2011. It was fair to say I was at a crossroads! I was connected to Sarah for six coaching sessions. Looking back, it feels like it was serendipity. Sarah helped me make sense of my thoughts, so much so that I did indeed make a leap of faith and set up my own consultancy business. She challenged my sometimes-irrational thoughts about what I was and wasn’t capable of. I really welcomed her robust push backs to me and the way we worked through scenarios. I look back on those sessions as a time of real change for me and I know that Sarah was a significant part in guiding me through my career steps. I have grown massively in my self-employed work since those days. Sarah helped plant those seeds.
Joanne Harding. Executive Member Finance, Change & Governance. Labour & Cooperative Councillor Urmston Ward.
“As someone who has never had coaching before, I was initially quite self-conscious but Sarah really helped me feel comfortable by listening closely and working with me to find new insights I hadn’t previously considered. And in a short space of time, I felt empowered in how I made decisions. A huge thank you!”

I participated in coaching before however Sarah’s approach was, in the most positive way, like nothing I have experienced before. Sarah coaching enabled me to connect with silenced dreams and ambitions. Connecting to them and speaking about them has brought them back to life. I understand whhey were silenced, explored how to give them a voice and am confidently pursuing the things that are most important to me.

Sarah’s coaching style brought out my strengths helping me to set a goal and make great strides towards believing I can achieve it. Challenging questions helped me separate my true goals from others that may be driven by my comfort zone or what I think others expect of me or think I should be setting as goals, or even easy options. Being able to focus on what I truly want to do, and feeling confident to achieve it has been a fantastic outcome from the sessions. Rather than having a few ideas mulling around without any certainty of whether they were really what I wanted, I now have a fantastic journey ahead of me becoming qualified in what I am truly passionate about. Sarah guided me from a few ideas to a powerful dream which will soon become a successful reality.

“Sarah’s probing and insight has supported me to rediscover old strengths, focus on what’s important to me. I have learned that career aspirations aren’t just about what I do at work, they need to factor in how my work impacts on my whole life. I have understood more fully what is important to me and how work can enhance or detract from that. I have particularly realised that I have changed and therefore my career aspirations need to change to reflect this.“
Adam Midgley, Head of Service, Local Authority.
Sarah was a fantastic coach who truly made a difference in how I view myself and my abilities. She helped me become more aware of my strengths and taught me how to express myself assertively rather than succumbing to frustration or anxiety. Through her guidance, I developed a deeper understanding of what I can do and learned to focus on my capabilities rather than dwelling on what others may not be able to do. One of Sarah's greatest strengths is her ability to listen. She would patiently let me ramble and then identify key points in my words, helping me realise the sessions were about unlocking my potential. She showed me that I already have valuable insights and more knowledge than I often give myself credit for. Her support also ensured I was fully prepared for meetings, equipping me with all the necessary information about the children’s health. Sarah’s coaching has been truly transformative, and I’m incredibly grateful for the confidence and clarity she has helped me achieve."
Vikki Cameron. Assistant Head of Children’s Services, NHS Merton
“Sarah was an independent support who I opened to in a way I didn’t expect, I trusted her approach and I came through the other side a stronger person. I will always be grateful for the difference Sarah made and I have achieved a successful result as a direct contribution to her coaching, Thank You.”
Anne M. CEO Charity Sector.
“Thank you Sarah for providing the help, support and structure I needed to identify what needed to change and motivation to get it done!!”
Janet.
Sarah is an exceptional coach. As someone who does not subscribe to coaching, counselling or therapy as a means to identify or solve problems, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to reflect inwardly and rediscover myself. The session was quite engaging and Sarah was filled with joy. She paid close attention to my body movements and a few references to my countenance while talking, which indicated her keen interest in the details. She is an excellent coach and I am eagerly looking forward to working with her. I would certainly suggest her to anyone who requires a boost or seems uncertain about their choices.

“After starting off quite sceptical and not really understanding what I wanted or needed to get out of coaching sessions with Sarah, I found them very useful to focus the mind. I initially found it very difficult at the start of each session trying to work out what to say or what my goals were, but somehow, Sarah encouraged me to start talking which then brought out issues that I didn’t realise I had until I started talking out loud. I would definitely recommend coaching sessions with Sarah”

“It was an absolute privilege and pleasure to work with you and achieve so much in such a short space of time. I found your coaching approach extremely engaging and supportive. So thank you Sarah, your work has been nothing less revolutionary in helping me make what is a fundamental shift, the full effects of which I know are still ahead.”
Sarah Y. NHS Manager.
“Sarah really listens to what you are saying and through her questions enables you to reflect back on your own thinking, and she helped me to find new insights and better outcomes bringing my thinking to a new level so that I could move forward with new confidence.”
Louise S-S. HR Manager.
“Thank you very much for our coaching session yesterday. It has really helped me and I’ve been reflecting on the situation differently. You were able get down to exactly what I needed to talk about (even though I hadn’t realised exactly what ‘it’ was) and changing your style to be both empathetic and challenging is exactly what I needed.”
Judith.
Working with Sarah gave me the confidence to take more time and to think carefully about what my ‘dream job’ would look like and what is important to me.
