Hello and welcome!

My name is Sarah Brooks and I’m a Career Development Coach.

As an academic and a coach, I bring many years of personal experience, academic knowledge and coaching skills to help you apply for and get jobs that show what you're capable of.

I have been coaching since 2004 and have found that I am truly passionate about helping people find joy and purpose through their work.

I’ve applied for a large number of jobs spanning operations management, consultancy and academic roles. Like most people, I’ve been rejected and knocked back many times but over the years I’ve learnt more and more about how to make sure that when I apply for jobs I, at the very least, get an interview for them.

I also have an academic interest in career development and have developed lectures and materials designed to help people understand the concepts of career, career development and employability so they can plan better careers for themselves.

My personal experience combined with my academic background means I am well placed to support you.

I am accredited by two of the largest coaching professional bodies, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). My coaching accreditations are important to me because they help me show everyone that:

• I engage in Continuing Professional Development so that my coaching practice is the best it can be

My personal mission is to help you achieve your potential by supporting you to create a life that makes you truly happy. I would not have achieved the things I have in my life if others had not believed in me when I couldn’t do it for myself. I want to be that person who helps others believe in themselves until they find the self-belief to achieve their dreams.

As a coach, I can work with anyone who brings personal commitment to the application process, a willingness to be brave, and a readiness to explore the possibilities that they are presented with.
